Oh, Sarah Palin... she has done it again! She's sparking up new controversy, since the skeletons in her closet have been brought up to surface. According to Perez Hilton, Sarah Palin has had a history of lies. I always had a gut feeling that behind her innocent and perfect smile, laid a past that's somewhat shady. Sure, no one's perfect, but really Sarah? In the past, she's criticized other government leaders for doing shady things, which shows that she's a bit hypocritical, to say the least. Some risque things that she's done are:
- taking free trips, thanks to the city
- accepted money w/o letting anyone know (but now we know!)
- hooked her friends up with jobs (aw...)
and so on and so forth.
Even with all this bad press, do you think she deserves the bad media attention? Do you think that the media's being a bit harsh? Even with all her mistakes, I kind of wonder if they're being too difficult on her. She's only human, but I would sympathize more for her if she hadn't accused other politicians of not doing the right thing. Heck, you're not perfect either, Sarah!
Here's some videos I ran across, that you may find hilarious, harsh, or neither.
Getting boo'd at a hockey game! So much for being a hockey mom...
One of my favorites. Lucian Piane's "Sarah Palin remixed". haha!
controversy over her un-retouched NewsWeek cover.
So what do you guys think? Do you think that she's being attacked? Or does she deserve the bad media attention?

She definitely, totally, undoubtedly deserves all of the bad press she is receiving. She is uninformed about seemingly anything and everything that is happening and seems to be completely oblivious about what it is exactly that the American people want. She can't seem to find a happy medium for her beliefs or even her following.
Although I usually am the political antithesis of anything my super-conservative-Bush-and-Cheney-as-well-as-McCain-loving parents say, we can definitely collectively agree on our dislike of this woman. I think she's made a joke of our political process. She's going to stand by at her own rally when people are loudly declaring lynching references about Obama and do absolutely nothing to discourage that behavior or speak out against it? Completely despicable. It seems like the more we find out about her, the worse it gets.
Here's some important videos to add to your post if you haven't seen them:

Well, heres the deal, I am going to be open and honest about this...I like John McCain. ( I liked him a lot before he entered the presidential election) But anyway, I always told myself if John McCain ran for president I would vote for the guy. Hes sort of a "maverick," if you will, what a sense of orginaility I have... Muah hah.
Anyways, what does this have to do with Mizz Palin? Yeah, all that went out the window when he picked her as his running mate. I was like seriously John, we could'nt come up with somebody any better? Guess not.
Undoubtedly shes got some brains but seriously when I hear stuff like her yapping about her "hockey mom status" and them spending about a half of a million dollars on her clothes. Come on. Shes a vice presidential candidate and we are acting like shes some sort of celebrity. And shes playing right into it, so sure, she deseves it.
She may not be outrightedly ASKING FOR IT, but in so many words and actions...she is.
Politicians have always been held to a higher standard than the rest of us. If you are a politician and you say something or do something stupid the media is gong to get you. She gives them something to talk about. She adds a little spice. There are a lot of rumors about her. I heard today that she had horrible SAT scores and changed colleges every two years. Then there is the investigation in Alaska about her abusing her power. They say she got her sister's ex-husband fired. So does she deserve it? Yes!
Being a politician, or being in the media for whatever reason, makes everyone know who you are. If you can't present a strong front, without trying to win over everyone with your hockey mom status, your "Joe six packs", and your winking in a vp debate are you really fit to run a country? I do think that she doesn't deserve all the harsh treatment, and I can't help but feel like she was blindsided with her VP nomination. She wasn't adequately prepared to say the least.
But some of the things she does! It's common sense that if you are in the eye of the public you do not just hand them horrible things to write about you on a silver platter. Sometimes I wonder if she really wants this VP nomination, or if she just likes being the center of attention.
